Bunai Enterprise was established in Kuching in October 2022 as a wholly Bumiputera-owned contractor serving Sarawak's construction and public works sector. The company is led by a civil engineer with formal training in integrated design and a focus on quality control, health and safety, and disciplined project delivery.
We are deliberately small. Every project is owner-managed, which means our clients deal directly with the person accountable for the work — not a layer of subcontractors. We take on contracts within our registered grade and scope, deliver them properly, and grow from there.

Bachelor of Civil Engineering (Hons), Universiti Tenaga Nasional. Recipient of the HARQ Structures Award for Academic Excellence for the Best Integrated Civil Engineering Design Project (2009/2010). CIDB Green Card holder. CSPS (Contractor Safety Passport System) All Risks certified.
Compliance philosophy
Sarawak public works are evaluated on more than price. We invest in the certifications, insurance, and worker registration that government and Council projects require — SOCSO coverage, Public Liability Insurance, Works Insurance, and CIDB-certified site personnel on every contract.
Team certifications
Our team holds CIDB Technical Module certifications across the disciplines our projects most often require: road works, drainage and flood control, slope protection systems, bridge works, and painting works.
